Dr. Wilfredo Morales III, chiropractor in Ronkonkoma, NY, grew up in Central Islip, NY. As a student athlete in Central Islip High School, Dr. Morales excelled in and out of the classroom. He was a 2004 graduate who was captain of the baseball and cross-country teams while maintaining high grades in school. Dr. Wilfredo Morales III then went on to attend St. Joseph’s College. He continued excelling in and out of the classroom while receiving his Bachelor’s in Biology and serving as captain of the baseball team.
While pitching in a game, Dr. Morales suffered an elbow injury that unfortunately ended his pitching career. He began researching various techniques, treatments, and rehabilitative therapies and became enamored with the treatment of injuries through manual and chiropractic treatments.
Upon graduating from St. Joseph’s College, Dr. Morales decided to attend New York Chiropractic College to further his knowledge and ability to treat numerous injuries, in athletes and non-athletes alike, through muscular and chiropractic manipulation. During this time, Dr. Morales acquired a great deal of knowledge about deep tissue therapy, neurology, nutrition, and various adjustive techniques.
The techniques Dr. Morales focuses on in his practice are ConnectX therapy, Y strap, kinesiology taping, electric stimulation, post-isometric relaxation technique, stretching, strengthening, rehabilitation, and chiropractic adjustments including diversified adjustments, flexion distraction, drop table technique, and activator technique.
